A young Rohingya football player, Janis, escaped the Genocide in Myanmar and spent six years living as a refugee in Bangladesh. Today, his inspiring journey has become a powerful symbol of hope, resilience, and determination.

Now living in Canada, Janis is pursuing his passion for football by playing soccer in Ottawa. Recently, he had the honor of celebrating the World Cup Tour alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

From surviving Genocide and displacement to standing on an international stage, Janis represents the strength, courage, and dreams of Rohingya youth around the world. His story continues to inspire many young refugees to believe in a brighter future through hard work and perseverance.
